Rinse the rice for 5 to 10 minutes and drain the water. Use 2 cups of water for each cup of rice. In a closed pot with a tight lid on stovetop, boil the rice for about 10 minutes until the water is absorbed and let it cool for 5 minutes with the lid on before serving. In an electric cooker, use the same amount of rice and water and cook according to the manual. In a microwave, cook with a cover in a microwave safe bowl on high power setting for 15 minutes.
